Case study: Zakaz.ua courier app

Zakaz.ua is a products delivery leading company in Ukraine. They provide delivery services from the supermarkets like METRO, AUCHAN, NOVUS, MEGAMARKET (10 brands in total) since 2010, working in 8 biggest cities in Ukraine and in Kishinev (Moldova).

One of the head advantages of Zakaz is formally the own in-house delivery platform. Zakaz.ua clients got used to shopping via ZAKAZ.UA mobile app: choose the supermarket, fill in the cart, choose the delivery time... and that's it - you get your purchases delivered right to your front door! It's a no-brainer to buy products within the Zakaz.ua application.

Need for upgrade

Another part of the platform is the purchases collecting and delivery process. Zakaz has got separate apps for pickers and courier guys to allow them to do their job fast and at the highest level.

Platform owner provides the updates on a regular basis to keep it modern, fast and easy for everyone. Recently Zakaz decided to upgrade their courier service app. Since Massive Kinetic is experienced in mobile apps, Zakaz.ua invited us to take part in the development process.

Courierman app

The goal was to make an Android application for couriers to accomplish their day-to-day delivery tasks. The job has been estimated by 1,5 months.

Zakaz.ua management was running smoothly: each completed task was reviewed by company QA engineers, designers and product owner while Massive Kinetic developers were delivering high quality code, Zakaz team did their best to review it and provide feedback immediately.

Release

After the final QA stage and code review the app development was finished in time and released in Play Market. We are thankful for this Zakaz.ua cooperation opportunity and looking forward to the next project.
